Our Story

Flexiliser develops modular systems to convert organic waste into clean fertilizers and energy. We bring circular economy solutions to farms, biogas sites, and cooperatives — closing loops where nutrients are lost today.

We believe the energy system and food system are both in a transitionary phase and require fundamental changes for a sustainable society. As we see it, food and energy are inextricably linked in their core, as we use energy in the traditional sense to produce food, while all organisms transform food into energy to perform their daily bodily processes.

From this core thought, we set out to find a solution that connects the energy and food systems and solves their most urgent challenges: the need for flexibility as well as the need for reduced inputs on the one hand and reduced harmful outputs on the other. Fossil inputs in both our food and energy system should minimise if not disappear, harmful outputs including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions too.

Our solution leads to one core product with several profitable byproducts. The core product is Flexibooster, a mixture of nutrients for soil treatment leading to sustained agricultural yields with less soil degradation and less harmful outputs. The byproducts are electricity grid flexibility and hydrogen. If induced by market demand, we could consider other byproducts based on different variants of ammonia and fertiliser compounds.

As a team, we are motivated by the idea that we can change this world for the better. What we need for this, is conscious use of this planet’s resources and increased uptake of sustainable, circular business models. We believe that Flexiliser provides sustainable and circular business models and that we can thus take a step in the direction of solving society’s complex sustainability challenges.

Our Technology

Flexiliser’s system is built around three integrated modules that work together to convert waste into sustainable value — closing nutrient and energy loops on-site, and producing high-quality soil inputs for regenerative agriculture.

Local Energy Integration

We connect with available local renewable energy sources — solar, wind, or biogas — to power our modular processes. This enables local, low-carbon production of essential chemicals, dramatically reducing supply chain emissions.

Nutrient Retention & Emission Reduction

Our process minimizes nitrogen emissions from organic waste streams. By flexibly adapting to the waste composition, we ensure maximum nutrient recovery while protecting the environment from harmful runoff and greenhouse gases.

Regenerative Soil Production

We blend recovered nutrients with our Flexi-Booster formula into a rich, living soil amendment. High in microbial life and bioavailable nutrients, this output supports resilient crops and long-term soil health.
